dog.woaf.net failure

Sadly at some point yesterday something bad happened to dog.woaf.net which has corrupted the root file system rather thoroughly. A new system has been installed, and we are working to recover what data we can off the old disks. This affects all web sites, shell accounts, and email that lived on the server.

Update 2nd June @ 2020 BST

We've recovered mail authentication databases, DNS zone files, and user accounts from early December 2007. No user data has been restored.

Update 7th June @ 2308 BST

davidf has started work on recovering the filesystems. disks have been imaged and much is recoverable. Unfortunately there is some data loss. If there is something you particularly wish to have recovered, please email davidf+dogrecovery@woaf.net.
